Default love the game

hi all this is my 1st thread ive been playing the game for about 3 years and just want to say that its a one of a kind and awesome that we as a community have a game thats so great to play, i have slowed a little on game time due 2 having children but still find time( when everyones gone to bed) to get a few hours in. i hope GW2 doesnt kill GW1 and i hope GW1 still has a while yet before it dies.It will be a sad day when i log on and nobody is on anymore. Thank you guild wars for the good times and great game

it's quite simple. here is a 3 steps tutorial:

1. you try it.
2. you DON'T enjoy it.
3. you DON'T do it anymore EVER!!!

if you're such a genius you should be able to figure that out by urself

sigh i hate ppl whose glass is always half empty

Wait...are you guys saying you DON'T farm DoA?

But that's where the best rewards are. I've been hearing that people only play where the best rewards are.

Best farms are the ones you enjoy the most. The best reward is enjoyment.

Agreed it is a good game or else why would so many be here for such a long time. I enjoy/enjoyed it very much.

/Agreed with the OP. I've met some of the best people I've known on this game. Also, the game brought me closer to the family members who I started the game with. Nothing beats messing around on vent all night long with entertaining and awesome people.

I have never played the same game for so long - since Feb 2006. It is endlessly entertaining and I don't believe I will be done with it for several more years.

I just got back into DoA with my guild and I've been loving it.

what makes DoA sooooooo much less enjoyable or so much different from other teams?

Thumbs up

Been playing since the very first public beta...
Many friends have long retired....
35 maxed titles....
r11 z-rank.....
Still loves the game...
Most people outside of combat are very friendly...

Gameplay may not be what it was back in prophecies day.
but the game still has a great economy... not perfect but the best I've seen in a MMORPG.

Can't wait for GW2...

I loved the game when it was actually fun to play it [about four years ago]. Now with all the Qqing and nerfages, it sucks.

i totally agree i may be a young, 2 year player ^^;
but i still love the world of Tyria and all of its inhabitants (the community of course).
i do hope that a populace of considerable size will return to GW1 for the holidays and breath life into the current world for a bit when GW2 comes along. in the same way i hope guild wars 2 doesn't ruin the brand of guild wars. after a great experience i#d hate for a bad crowd to be drawn into the GW2 community. no matter where you went in GW there were always plenty of helpful, respectful and fun players. that has been the best part of Guild wars

Let's see here: If your dad says I'll give you $50 to mow the backyard and only $5 to mow the front yard daily and it takes the same amount of time to mow either one, which one are you going to choose?

Human nature is to go for for the highest reward. (and in many cases with the least amount of sharing this reward) Even a dog will do the same after a few lessons of which yields the highest reward.

This game has given me getting on for 5 years of fun, so I've no complaints (well, none that matter )

Even though I've cut back on playing time, I still find ways to dip in and amuse myself, like can I do THK HM H/H with 2 fire eles? (yes I can )
